Flipped Learning

Post by Jayts » Tue Sep 19, 2017 9:07 pm

I have been experimenting a lot with flipped learning in an attempt to build independence among my pupils. It works great with the higher ability pupils but requires a lot of structuring for those of lower ability. My fear is that, as a result, the flipped learning for them becomes just another homework where they have to complete a preordained task. They become focused on getting that task done rather than discovering things for themselves. I'd love to hear about anyone else's experience with flipped learning for lower ability.
